Bluetooth power meters and smart trainers
What’s affected: cycling power meters and FTMS smart trainers and treadmills.
What you might see: pairing works, but data quality varies across hardware — occasional dropouts, odd power numbers, or fields that don’t quite match what the machine reports. Power meters paired natively to watchOS go through Apple’s own pipeline and are unaffected; this applies to sensors paired inside the app.
Status: we’re collecting real-world reports across specific hardware. If you ride with a power meter or trainer, see Sensors for pairing details, then tell us what you rode and what looked wrong.
Readiness and recovery scores are still being tuned
What’s affected: the Readiness and Energy rings, and the recovery countdown on the Today tab.
What you might see: scores that look off for some training patterns while the model is calibrated, and scores that shift between builds even with the same history. See Analytics & Training Load for how the scores are built.
Status: actively being tuned. Expect the model to keep improving between releases; if a score looks wildly wrong for how you actually feel, that’s worth a report.
If you hit something that isn’t listed, it’s new to us — report it.
